We released a final video for Catalyst 5, where Faré walks builders through a simple and clear way to implement Sky Protocol.
We are excited to announce the release of our testnet. You can find it in our GitHub repository. Unlike many projects, we do not rely on Plutus for this.
We have also submitted our Catalyst proposals and initiated discussions to attract investors for Olapa, with the primary focus of these engagements planned for September.
Mid September 2025 – Completion of the Node Sale.
September 2025 – Start of mainnet development. With funding from Catalyst and the Node Sale, we expect to have sufficient budget to hire two additional developers and significantly accelerate progress.
Having delivered tangible results and demonstrated that our technology is not vaporware, we are confident it will now be easier to secure grants.
We're hiring a few additional team members in Q4 2025 to develop custom technology for other teams we've been in contact with. Some teams are interested in a private scaling solution, while others are focused on the data availability aspect. Excited to see how this develops.
- Development of OIapa will take place in 2026, alongside extensive business development efforts. This will include numerous interviews conducted by Zoe and Gauthier to gain deeper insights into our target audience and to establish a clear, Lean-driven approach to our priorities.
